Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer WSP

WSP is seeking an Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer to bolster its Transmission & Distribution Electrical team. You will work on vital substation projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while managing your project portfolio effectively.
Your role will be essential in ensuring high voltage standards are met for transmission lines ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV, shaping the energy future in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design and upgrades for existing transmission lines
• Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct comprehensive quality reviews of all deliverables
• Manage multiple projects with effective prioritization
• Liaise with clients and subcontractors for project satisfaction
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• 5-10 years of experience in transmission design
• Proficiency in PLS-CADD and related software
• Professional Engineering license (P.Eng.) required
• Skills in AutoCAD and project management preferred
