Elevate your career with SECURE as a Chemical Treatment Specialist at our Redwater facility. Focus on optimizing chemical processes and ensuring safety for all operations.
As a key player in the treatment and neutralization team, you will manage the intake of chemical samples and oversee testing and training activities. Emphasizing quality and safety, this position requires close collaboration with fellow experts to execute and enhance operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as liaison for chemical treatment efforts
• Log and analyze various chemical samples
• Execute bench-scale neutralize tests
• Mentor the operations team in best practices
• Ensure readiness and maintenance of lab equipment
Requirements:
• 3–5 years in relevant waste management
• Experience in SOP development and quality systems
• Diploma in Chemistry or related field is a plus
• H2S Alive and First Aid certifications required
• Strong problem-solving abilities
