In this role, you will spearhead telecom engineering efforts on FEED and execution projects, ensuring effective client communication and vendor interactions. You will apply your 10+ years of telecom engineering experience to design robust systems while collaborating with various engineering disciplines. Your insights will drive improvement in reliability and optimize system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and assess telecom designs and integration plans
• Lead projects in brownfield and greenfield environments
• Troubleshoot issues within telecom and network systems
• Prepare detailed documentation for system specifications
• Participate in design calculations and architecture development
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering
• Current P.Eng registration with APEGA
• 10+ years of relevant telecom experience
• Proficient in fiber optics, industrial communication standards
• Familiarity with Alberta’s regulatory framework
