This full-time term role, extending until May 2027, is crucial for the Climate and Environment Department's efforts. You will bring 7 to 10 years of relevant experience and a strong educational background in environmental science or engineering. Key responsibilities include enhancing sustainability through effective waste and water management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead key waste management initiatives at YVR
• Implement environmental training across all teams
• Design and manage water conservation programs
• Supervise budgets, projects, and consultant interactions
• Monitor and assess program outcomes and strategies
Requirements:
• 7 to 10 years of senior level environmental experience
• Degree in a related field;
Master’s preferred
• Professional environmental designation required
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Advanced knowledge of applicable environmental laws
Contribute to YVR’s vision of a greener community while working with diverse stakeholders to achieve sustainability goals.
