Become an Environmental Inspector Consultant at Summit, specializing in large linear disturbances across western Canada. Utilize your expertise to ensure environmental integrity in diverse project settings.
In this role, you will partner with the Manager/Project Manager to drive effective environmental inspections. You'll be responsible for documenting site conditions, participating in planning meetings, and assessing compliance with environmental standards. Your practical solutions will help protect aquatic resources across various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review daily field reports and site observations
• Participate in safety and planning meetings
• Monitor site operations through regular visits
• Assess erosion control methods and procedures
• Suggest practical solutions for environmental protection
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in environmental monitoring
• Degree or diploma in a science-related field
• Familiarity with pipeline regulations and practices
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary settings
• Relevant safety certifications like First Aid and PCST
