Estimator​/Project Coordinator

Layfield is seeking an Estimator/Project Coordinator for their Edmonton Construction Group. This role combines estimating with project coordination, ensuring deliverables align with client expectations. You will engage with contractors and prepare essential project documentation to support successful construction outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate project drawings and create material take-offs

• Prepare pre-bid information and assist in submittals

• Coordinate project handoff meetings from Estimating to Operations

• Maintain project tracking systems and update as necessary

• Assist in procurement and project documentation preparation

Requirements:

• Engineering Technology Diploma from NAIT or higher

• Minimum one year of construction estimating experience

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Blue Beam

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities

• Excellent communication skills both oral and written
