Mining Technology Engineer

Enhance mining technology solutions as a Mining Technology Engineer at Finning in Edmonton. Provide expert support for Minestar® products and autonomous systems to optimize customer operations.

This full-time role involves on-site technical assistance for Finning's innovative products. Focus on troubleshooting, implementing new technologies, and ensuring minimal downtime for clients. Engage with a variety of projects aimed at improving customer processes and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver technical support for Minestar® and Caterpillar® products

• Troubleshoot and implement software and hardware technologies

• Address customer requests promptly via phone and in person

• Manage technology inventory and project communications

• Document support activities and develop best practices

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Business, or related fields

• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills

• Knowledge of Mine Star/Wenco/Modular fleet management systems

• Experience in Mining Operations or Heavy Civil Construction

• Ability to travel extensively across Western Canada
