As part of Worley Canada Construction, the Senior Mechanical Estimator plays a crucial role within the estimating team. This position allows you to spearhead project bids, ensuring clarity in budgets and execution plans. You will collaborate extensively with construction managers and procurement teams to streamline the estimating process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct the bid team through the estimating process
• Arrange critical bid kickoff and review meetings
• Create budget estimates that meet project criteria
• Engage with various stakeholders throughout the bid cycles
• Provide mentorship to junior estimators in the team
Requirements:
• Minimum 10 years of industrial estimating experience
• Knowledge of mechanical construction methods
• Experience in team supervision and training
• Proficient with key software tools and applications
• Adaptable and detail-oriented in approach
