Testing and Commissioning Engineer

Join an independent rail consultancy as a Testing and Commissioning Engineer based in Edmonton on a long-term contract. You'll drive the Testing & Commissioning phase for high-profile Light Rail Transit projects.

This role involves collaborating closely with designers and suppliers to ensure the successful execution of T&C activities in a challenging rail environment. Candidates must bring at least four years of hands-on experience in rail systems, with a strong focus on Factory Acceptance Testing and System Integration Testing. The position will primarily require full-time onsite presence during the commissioning programme.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Testing & Commissioning documentation

• Plan and execute Factory and Site Acceptance Testing

• Interface with vendors and installation teams

• Manage test evidence and verify design requirements

• Support handover activities to operations and maintenance

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years’ Testing & Commissioning experience

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification

• Ability to interpret technical documentation

• Strong communication skills in English

• Eligible to work full-time in Canada
