Location: St. Albert
Seabridge Gold Inc. is looking for a dedicated Environmental Coordinator to support the KSM project in British Columbia. This full-time role involves coordination, compliance, and environmental field crew management on-site.
Located at the KSM Mine, this position operates on a 14x14 rotational schedule. The role involves collaborating with employees and contractors to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, sustainability goals, and project objectives. A blend of environmental permitting experience and an understanding of diverse scientific principles are crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage MLARD material movement tracking for compliance
• Interface with Sr. Geochem and Field Engineers on geochemistry
• Coordinate environmental field crews with construction teams
• Communicate regulatory compliance needs across departments
• Conduct monthly audits/inspections of management plans
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of environmental compliance experience in mining
• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong communication skills
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Experience in mine environments in British Columbia
