Senior Electrical Design Engineer

In this pivotal role at Silent-Aire, you will enhance value engineering initiatives while resolving manufacturability risks and ensuring production-ready designs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to create robust, cost-effective equipment solutions that meet client needs. You will lead DFM reviews and address design complexities early in the process.

• Lead design for manufacturing reviews and ensure readiness
• Identify and eliminate manufacturability risks in designs
• Drive design simplification and modularization initiatives
• Participate in peer reviews for accountability in safety outcomes
• Analyze manufacturing defects to drive improvements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years in equipment design or DFM-focused roles
• Proficiency in PTC Creo 9 and knowledge of Windchill PLM
• Understanding of machining, welding, and assembly processes
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
