Join Jacobs as an Intermediate Environmental Consultant, helping to improve communities through innovative remediation projects. This role is based in Calgary or Edmonton with hybrid working capabilities.
You will focus on implementing characterization and remediation services for brownfield redevelopment. Your technical background will support the execution of field investigations and the preparation of necessary reports, while championing safety and high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute environmental site assessments and investigations
• Prepare Phase I and II environmental assessment reports
• Conduct and oversee environmental sampling activities
• Collaborate with diverse technical teams to drive project success
• Utilize digital tools for project management and innovation
Requirements:
• Engineer or geoscientist in training, or equivalent experience
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in environmental science
• Practical skills in environmental monitoring and sampling
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork and client visits
• Proficient writing skills and knowledge of environmental regulations
