Site Assessment Senior Environmental Scientist

In this role, you'll lead and supervise field programs, including groundwater monitoring and soil sampling. You will also provide technical guidance to junior team members and prepare essential reports for project and regulatory requirements. Balancing fieldwork with crucial office tasks, you'll support project schedules and client communications effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct environmental fieldwork and monitor site conditions
• Conduct Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments
• Mentor junior staff on environmental practices
• Assist Project Managers with project deliverables
• Ensure compliance with health and safety plans
Requirements:
• Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of field experience in site assessments
• Knowledge of Alberta’s regulations on contaminated sites
• Experience in supervising field operations
• Valid Class 5 driver's license for site access
Lead comprehensive site assessments, ensuring environmental safety and mentoring the next generation of scientists.
