The City of Edmonton seeks a dedicated professional for its Engineering Services section.
Your role includes conducting long-term monitoring of construction sites and performing traffic-related noise and vibration assessments. You will also handle routine environmental sampling, calibrate equipment, and analyze collected data using specialized software.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and calibrate monitoring equipment for vibration and noise
• Collect and document environmental data using software
• Conduct routine field sampling of soil, water, and air
• Transport samples to accredited labs for analysis
• Respond to inquiries from community members professionally
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma in environmental technology or related field
• Minimum two years of field experience in monitoring
• Eligible for C.E.T. with ASET
• Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence
• Strong digital and data analysis skills
