Mechanical Engineering Sales Representative

Our client, a well-established and highly respected leader in the HVAC and mechanical systems industry, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Sales Representative to join their growing team.
This customer-facing role is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, developers, architects, and owners while driving sales growth across a diverse portfolio of commercial HVAC equipment and mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain strong relationships within the engineering and construction community.

Support product selection, equipment design, quotations, tenders, and project execution.

Manage projects throughout the entire sales cycle, from initial specification through warranty completion.

Conduct presentations, technical training sessions, and customer visits to promote products and solutions.

Stay current on industry trends, technologies, codes, and regulations.

Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities and deliver comprehensive project solutions.

Qualifications:

3+ years of HVAC or mechanical equipment sales experience (5+ years preferred).

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Engineering Technology.

Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems and HVAC equipment.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
