Our energy and resources client is seeking a Senior Project Manager III (6+ Years of Experience) to lead gas facility and pipeline construction projects using project management and pipeline infrastructure delivery

Join a team delivering capital projects across gas compression facilities and pipeline infrastructure within the oil and gas sector. This role leads multidisciplinary project delivery activities across feasibility, planning, development, execution, and close-out while overseeing safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives. The position supports complex infrastructure initiatives involving pipeline facilities, construction activities, and cross-functional coordination in a matrix delivery environment.

Contract, Edmonton or Calgary, Hybrid, 3 days on site

Must Haves

6+ years in project management across pipeline and gas compression projects

Pipeline facilities expertise across mechanical
, civil
, electrical & instrumentation
, and automation & controls

Gas pipeline construction or operations and maintenance background

Pipeline infrastructure and facility operations safety and hazard knowledge

Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized university or college

Nice to Have

Professional Engineering designation

Project Management certification (PMI)

Valid driver’s license

Experience supporting matrix service delivery environments

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary teams through feasibility, planning, development, execution, and project close-out phases

Manage safety, cost, schedule, and quality results for assigned project scope

Coordinate resources within a matrix service delivery model to meet deliverable expectations

Review schedules and cost reports to support completion requirements across the program

Ensure project scope aligns with regulatory, environmental, health, and safety requirements

Select contractors aligned with project safety values and safety in design objectives

Travel to company offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities as required
