Enhance Edmonton's traffic systems as an Engineering Technologist II for the City of Edmonton. This role involves technical assessment, fieldwork, and design planning to improve safety and mobility. In this vital position, you will assess applications for parking and loading zones, prepare traffic control plans, and perform field data collection.
Key Responsibilities- Assess technical applications for parking and loading zones
- Prepare parking sign and traffic control plans
- Conduct field work for data collection
- Analyze data to recommend traffic safety improvements
- Review engineering design plans from consultants
- Two-year Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Eligibility for ASET membership as CET
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and traffic design guides
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license
