Most days will be spent engaging in various activities related to the maintenance of rotating equipment, including steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, valves, and their components such as rotors, diaphragms, and bearings.

How You’ll Make an Impact Execute mechanical millwright work under the leadership of a Siemens Energy Lead hand, Technician, or Representative.
Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and report all near misses and incidents to EHS Management
Contribute clear and concise data for technical reporting and accurately document information in the appropriate forms.
You will participate in all activities related to the OEM units, including disassembly and cleaning, detailed inspection and documentation of findings in both paper and digital formats, low-speed balancing of components, and assembly and packaging of units as instructed by a lead Journeyman Millwright.
What You Bring Ability to perform mechanical duties related to disassembly, inspection, maintenance repair, and reassembly for Siemens Energy OEM product lines of steam turbines and compressors.
Experience with disassembly and rebuilding of single-stage steam turbine rotors, multi-stage steam turbine rotors, and compressor rotors, along with knowledge of associated equipment and auxiliary systems.
Proficiency in balancing rotors using low-speed balance machines will be considered an asset.
Valid driver’s license and passport.
Red Seal Journeyman Millwright certificate or currently enrolled as a third or fourth-year apprentice, with a strong attention to detail. Capable of working independently or as part of a team, and able to lift up to 20 kg.
Proficient in reading and understanding technical drawings and publications, with the ability to make accurate calculations.
