Canadian Natural is seeking a highly motivated Field Facility Engineer for the Kirby and Jackfish SAGD Thermal Operations. This role requires a hands-on engineer skilled in resolving complex operational challenges. You will be instrumental in improving equipment reliability and operational efficiency, contributing to long-term production stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with Operations and Engineering teams
• Support critical rotating and static equipment daily
• Drive continuous production efficiency improvement projects
• Lead facility upgrades via Management of Change process
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis after equipment failures
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering
• Professional Engineer designation or nearing eligibility
• 5+ years in Oil & Gas engineering roles
• Strong experience with rotating equipment
• Knowledge of reliability methodologies
