Process Engineer Chemical Plant

Join the Edmonton Chemical Plant team as a Process Engineer, responsible for managing and executing mechanical and chemical projects. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the plant operates safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Edmonton Plant Engineer, you will spearhead diverse engineering projects from their inception to completion. Key responsibilities include providing technical support during installations, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with regulatory codes. Foster collaboration with maintenance and operations groups to achieve project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute projects from planning to closure

• Provide technical support during field installations

• Prepare cost estimates for capital and maintenance projects

• Create equipment fabrication specifications for compliance

• Maintain open communication with project stakeholders

Requirements:

• BSc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, APEGA registered P.Eng.

• Minimum 5 years in chemical processing plant

• Proficiency in AutoCAD-2D and project management

• Experience with mechanical design and specifications

• Knowledge of SAP is an asset
