Enhance your engineering skills as a Civil Engineering Intern with TYLin in Toronto, Ontario. This four-month role focuses on traffic and municipal engineering projects while gaining practical experience.
TYLin, a leader in infrastructure consulting, is seeking an Intern to join the City Solutions team. You will assist in creating transportation impact studies and complete street designs while honing your knowledge in traffic operations and multimodal planning. Your proficiency in AutoCAD and related software will be crucial for project success and achieving impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing transportation impact studies and plans
• Support multimodal transportation network planning
• Conduct traffic operations and parking demand investigations
• Contribute to AutoCAD quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• Prepare graphics, maps, and presentations for urban studies
Requirements:
• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil3D, or ArcGIS is beneficial
• Previous experience in transportation studies is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
