Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer

WSP is seeking an Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer to join the Transmission & Distribution Electrical team. This role involves overseeing transmission line projects ranging from 34.5 kV to 500 kV, managing design deliverables, and coordinating with contractors. Your engineering background and leadership skills will be key as you support complex projects and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead technical aspects of transmission line design projects
• Prepare design deliverables and construction specifications
• Manage resources and prioritize multiple projects
• Conduct quality reviews on deliverables
• Liaise with clients and project teams for successful outcomes
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering Physics
• 5 to 10 years of experience in transmission design
• Proficiency with PLS-CADD and AutoCAD
• Professional Engineering license (P.Eng.)
• Strong leadership and project management skills
