Process Engineer in Oil and Gas

Agilus is seeking a skilled Process Engineer for a full-time role in Edmonton, Alberta. Engage in innovative projects focused on process design and simulation in the oil and gas sector.

In this influential role, you’ll leverage your expertise to perform vital process simulations and equipment selection, shaping the development of state-of-the-art processing facilities. Your contributions will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards while mentoring fellow engineers within a collaborative team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform process simulations for effective facility designs

• Size and select critical equipment like exchangers

• Generate PFDs and participate in HAZOP studies

• Conduct PSV and flare network sizing assessments

• Troubleshoot existing operations and support new commissioning

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering required

• P.Eng designation preferred or in progress

• At least 5 years in process engineering with gas focus

• Familiar with HYSYS, Aspen Exchanger Design software

• Knowledge of oil & gas processing methodologies
