Join Stantec as a Junior Pipeline Design Engineer and contribute to critical engineering projects. This role involves collaborating with skilled professionals to craft innovative pipeline designs in Calgary, Alberta.
As a Junior Engineer in Training, you will gain valuable experience in evaluating design solutions and ensuring they adhere to applicable codes. This position allows you to perform detailed calculations, engage with various project teams, and be integral to the design process—from drafting to cost estimation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and verify detailed design and alignment sheets
• Conduct design calculations following industry standards
• Liaise with design teams for project execution
• Draft material requisitions and review supplier quotations
• Assist in developing project cost assessments
Requirements:
• Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Pipeline Engineering
• Must be registered as an Engineer in Training
• 0-4 years of relevant experience preferred
• Familiarity with CSA Z662 standards
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
