EPCOR Senior Engineer

In this permanent, full-time role, you'll oversee medium- and long-term planning for EPCOR's electric distribution system. Your expertise will be critical in identifying system deficiencies and developing power flow models that steer investment decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure the reliability of electric services across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead medium- and long-term distribution planning activities
• Develop and maintain distribution system power flow models
• Conduct analyses on system performance and reliability
• Authentically stamp engineering studies per APEGA standards
• Plan for distributed generation interconnections
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation or eligibility
• Experience in electric distribution system planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to mentor engineers and technical professionals
