Intermediate Electrical Engineer P&C

CANEIL is hiring an Intermediate Electrical Engineer specializing in Protection & Control in Edmonton, offering flexible working arrangements. This position is ideal for those eager to contribute to key substation design projects.

We are looking for engineers and designers with 2–5 years of substation P&C experience to join our elite in-house team. Candidates should possess an engineering degree or technical diploma. You will contribute to the preparation of comprehensive P&C drawing packages while coordinating with various teams to ensure the highest quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and update P&C deliverables for substation projects

• Integrate engineering changes into design documents

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers

• Maintain compliance with drafting standards

• Assist in managing documentation and revisions

Requirements:

• Engineering degree/diploma in relevant fields

• 2–5 years' experience in P&C engineering and drafting

• Competency in AutoCAD, with a preference for AutoCAD Electrical

• Familiar with applicable electrical codes and standards

• Strong organizational and communication skills
