Join G2V Optics in Edmonton as a Product Development Engineer, driving the transition from concepts to market-ready products. Your engineering expertise will play a crucial role in impactful product journeys.
In this Level II position, report to the Product Development Manager to oversee product designs through rigorous testing and stakeholder collaboration. Your responsibilities will encompass managing the product’s lifecycle, from initial concepts to delivery, ensuring high-quality output is achieved and customer needs are effectively translated into engineering work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft test plans and oversee testing execution
• Translate requirements into detailed engineering designs
• Manage vendor relations and internal stakeholder communications
• Maintain project documentation and traceability
• Facilitate continuous learning and process enhancements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in product development settings
• Capability to manage project timelines and risks
• Strong skills in documentation and stakeholder updates
• Experience with hardware test automation in Python
