This role calls for a professional with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 3-7 years of engineering experience in power distribution systems. You'll apply your knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA Standards, and Alberta Electrical Utility Code to deliver high-quality designs and specifications. Collaborating with project teams, you'll foster excellent client service while meeting budget and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute electrical engineering activities from design to commissioning
• Stamp and issue detailed drawings and specifications
• Respond to Requests for Information promptly
• Perform power system analysis like load flow and coordination studies
• Engage with clients and contractors to gather project data
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other design software
• Engineer in Training designation or professional registration
• Valid driver’s license with no at-fault accidents
