Intermediate Engineering Technologist in Electrical Design

Become an Intermediate Engineering Technologist, working alongside engineering and design teams to create detailed electronic drawings for diverse projects. This position emphasizes AutoCAD and design calculations for power and lighting systems.

As part of the engineering group, you will collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop engineering sketches and technical documents.

Your role is crucial in ensuring compliance with Canadian Electrical Code and industry standards while drafting technical drawings. A minimum of 3-7 years of relevant design experience and an Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma are required to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare engineering sketches and design calculations

• Review utility and CEC specifications thoroughly

• Interpret engineering drawings and electrical specifications

• Design various technical drawings including electrical layouts

• Maintain and manage project documents and records

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering Technology Diploma required

• 3-7 years of design experience in electrical systems

• Proficient with AutoCAD, Micro Station, and related software

• Valid driver's license without at fault accidents

• First aid and CPR certification is an asset
