The City of Edmonton is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to enhance their Environment and Climate Resilience section. In this position, you will manage the environmental management system (Enviso) aligned with ISO 14001 standards. You’ll work with specialists to maintain compliance, investigate environmental issues, and lead exciting projects that promote sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the ISO 14001 environmental management system

• Ensure regulatory compliance with environmental legislation

• Provide expert environmental advice to internal teams

• Investigate environmental issues and suggest improvements

• Develop technical reports translating complex data

Requirements:

• University degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering

• 6+ years of experience in environmental management

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification required

• Strong analytical and communication skills

• Valid Alberta driver’s license and safety compliance
