Electrical Project Engineer Commercial Lighting

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you'll play a vital role in commercial lighting and urban development projects. Your responsibilities will center around effective communication with clients while managing the engineering process from design through commissioning.

We seek a graduate with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering and 3-7 years of experience in project management for power distribution systems. In this role, you’ll apply your knowledge of relevant codes and standards, while working collaboratively with project teams. Your ability to engage directly with clients will ensure exceptional service and project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual and detailed electrical designs

• Stamp and issue engineering drawings as required

• Conduct load flow and short circuit analysis

• Ensure project deliverables meet technical and schedule requirements

• Travel to client sites for verification and support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years in electrical engineering or project management

• Understanding of Canadian Electrical Code and industry standards

• Experience with design software like Micro Station or AGI
