With over 10 years of experience, you will join WSP's Remediation Program Management team based in Edmonton or Calgary. This role involves managing complex environmental assessments and remediation projects for oil and gas sites in the Northwest Territories and Yukon. Mentoring junior staff while collaborating with top industry professionals is a key part of your contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and manage environmental site assessments and remediation projects
• Prepare Health and Safety and Emergency response plans
• Develop project proposals and cost estimates
• Ensure project accounting meets WSP standards
• Mentor junior staff in environmental practices and safety
Requirements:
• University degree in engineering or earth sciences
• Minimum 10 years in contaminated site assessments
• Experience in northern environments preferred
• Professional designation eligibility in NWT and Yukon
• Strong safety consciousness and understanding of health procedures
