The Project Engineer will work under the guidance of the Product Development Manager, responsible for developing and promoting innovative products for safer oilfield operations. This position involves managing design projects and pushing forward new ideas while enhancing technical knowledge needed to support product specifications and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead new design engineering projects for product development
• Innovate product offerings to enhance well construction safety
• Collaborate with teams to ensure effective project execution
• Develop a thorough understanding of product design and engineering principles
• Utilize 3D CAD software like Solid Works in design tasks
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years in design engineering roles
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required
• Professional Engineer registration in Alberta is essential
• Oil and gas industry experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
