Intact is actively looking for a Senior Building Forensic Engineer in Edmonton to enhance our investigative team. In this role, you will conduct on-site inspections, analyze damage, and use scientific methods to identify causes of claims for various structures. Strong communication and reporting skills are essential, as your insights will directly influence claim resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and reconstruct events leading to structural failures
• Work collaboratively with claims team and stakeholders
• Generate detailed reports for complex claims
• Travel to various sites for thorough evaluations
• Provide expert opinion and contribute to conflict resolution
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant forensic investigation experience
• Good driving record and valid license
• APEGA membership in good standing
• Proficient in both spoken and written communication
