Additional responsibilities include optimizing treatment processes, supporting environmental projects, coordinating maintenance and contractors, and contributing to continuous improvement— all while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and organizational standards.
This position follows a 4-days-on, 4-days-off rotation and requires the flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
The ideal candidate The ideal candidate will hold a Chemical or Environmental Technology Diploma, a
B.Sc., or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They will bring proven experience in environmental or chemical laboratory work, with additional assets including a Level 1 or 2 Water Certification or relevant industrial lab experience. This individual will be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and will demonstrate a proactive, detail-oriented approach to their work. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, they will possess a solid understanding of computerized systems and hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
