This role is designed for an experienced hydraulic modeller ready for significant challenges in the Prairies and Northern Canada. You’ll contribute to complex flood and water management systems while deepening your technical expertise. WSP offers a collaborative environment where your judgment shapes project outcomes and you mentor the next generation of engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in advanced hydraulic modelling for diverse basins
• Develop and validate hydraulic and flood models using specialized tools
• Model climate-driven flood scenarios and complex hydraulic systems
• Act as an authority on flood risk assessments and mapping
• Collaborate with Indigenous communities and various stakeholders
Requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience in hydraulic modelling
• Proficiency in hydraulic modelling tools and flood infrastructure
• Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Water Resources Engineering
• Eligible P.Eng. registration in Canada
• Strong project leadership and client relationship skills
