Become an integral part of Air Products in Edmonton, AB, as a 2nd Class Power Engineer. This role prioritizes safety and efficiency in hydrogen production processes.
As an Operations Technician, you will be instrumental in overseeing plant operations and supporting maintenance activities. Candidates must have a Second Class Power Engineering Certificate or be a 3rd Class Engineer on the path to certification. A strong focus on safety and reliability in operational activities is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Control and monitor hydrogen production systems
• Perform operational rounds and equipment inspections
• Support safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout practices
• Collaborate closely with maintenance teams
• Ensure compliance during contractor operations
Requirements:
• Second Class Power Engineering Certificate required
• 5+ years of industrial plant operations experience
• DCS operations knowledge preferred
• Strong commitment to safety standards
• Must work 12-hour rotating shifts
