In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex electrical systems, ensuring compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code. You will mentor junior engineers and oversee the entire electrical scope during all project phases, providing valuable technical direction. Occasional travel for project coordination may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead electrical engineering design and calculations
• Review project documentation and facilitate approvals
• Conduct site observations to ensure design adherence
• Support project managers in cost and risk management
• Prepare field review reports and closeout documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 6 years managing electrical projects
• Strong understanding of applicable industry standards
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license for site visits
• Proven capability to attain security clearance
Your expertise in electrical design, mentorship, and project administration will contribute to high-quality outcomes for clients in Alberta.
