Position: LRT Engineering Trainee at City

Reporting to the Senior LRT Signals Engineer, you will be responsible for managing maintenance documentation, drafting specifications, and supporting incident investigations related to LRT signals. This role is essential for maintaining high-quality transit services and ensures you work under the guidance of a professional engineer, allowing for significant professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate design and implement modifications for signals

• Maintain comprehensive records for signals documentation

• Support capital funding management for LRT signals

• Draft reports and coordinate with industry stakeholders

• Assist in safety and maintenance program development

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics

• Experience with railroad signal systems

• APEGA registration as Engineer-in-Training required

• Strong interpersonal and technical writing skills

• Familiarity with Google Workspace important
