In this senior leadership role, WSP seeks candidates with 10-15 years of experience in mine waste and geotechnical engineering. You will spearhead the design of tailings storage and water management systems while mentoring emerging engineers. Your work will include oversight of multidisciplinary projects with a focus on environment and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and assess tailings storage infrastructure for projects
• Lead investigations to support critical business decisions
• Contribute to environmental planning and risk management
• Manage projects collaboratively with global teams
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence
Requirements:
• 10-15 years in mine waste or geotechnical disciplines
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in relevant engineering fields
• P.Eng. designation is mandatory in Canada
• Strong track record of leadership in complex projects
• Comprehensive understanding of mining regulations
