Structural Engineer in Energy & Resources

As a member of Stantec's Energy and Resource team, you'll employ your skills to design innovative structural solutions for industrial projects.
Your role includes mentorship of junior engineers while ensuring that designs conform to safety and quality standards. Collaboration with diverse teams is key to success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in structural analysis and design for mining projects
• Develop detailed specifications and construction documents
• Participate in project coordination meetings with clients
• Assist in quality assurance processes for project compliance
• Travel to project sites for site assessments as needed
Requirements:
• Registered P. Eng. in Ontario, Alberta, or BC with 12-15 years' experience
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural specialization
• Competency with STAAD.Pro and other engineering software
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Experience with mining or industrial infrastructure projects
