Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Apply mechanical design skills at Argus in Edmonton or Nisku, supporting pigging valves, threading services, and manufacturing solutions.
Reporting to the Engineering Supervisor, the Junior Design Engineer performs daily engineering activities and provides technical support internally. The work includes design concepts, preliminary engineering calculations, Solid Modeling, drafting, and engineering documentation. You will also support product testing, document control, and manufacturing information.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop design concepts, calculations, solid models, and drafts
Create and maintain drawings, specifications, processes, and procedures
Assist with design packages and product testing methods
Maintain documents, item numbers, and bills of materials
Provide technical support to internal departments and customers
Requirements:
BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Engineer in Training status and APEGA membership eligibility
Design software competency;
AutoCAD and Solid Works knowledge is an asset
General knowledge of oil and gas products and services
Awareness of safety, quality assurance, and Lean Manufacturing principles
Build engineering documentation, models, calculations, and testing support for Argus products in Edmonton or Nisku.
