Intermediate Municipal Infrastructure Engineer

Design municipal infrastructure with EXP in Calgary or Edmonton, applying civil engineering analysis and coordination across Western Canada projects.

As an Intermediate Civil / Municipal Engineer, you will support planning, design, coordination and delivery for public- and private-sector clients. Your work spans water, wastewater, stormwater, roadways and other municipal infrastructure. The position develops engineering design, project management, coordination and client-facing skills while supporting multidisciplinary teams.

• Complete civil and municipal engineering analyses and technical documentation
• Prepare calculations, reports, drawings, specifications and cost estimates
• Support water, wastewater, stormwater and roadway projects
• Coordinate designs with municipalities, utilities, contractors and stakeholders
• Assist project managers with scopes, budgets and schedules

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Professional engineering registration or Western Canadian eligibility
• Relevant consulting, municipal or civil infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of municipal standards, specifications and approvals
• Strong technical writing, communication and problem-solving skills
