Explore Edmonton seeks an Event Services Crew member to assist in creating vibrant events at the Edmonton EXPO Centre.

Your role will involve all aspects of event preparation and operational support.

This integral position under the Manager of Event Operations focuses on setting up event areas and handling equipment. You will ensure all operations meet the venue's high standards for safety and functionality, working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Collaboration and flexibility are essential to meet the demands of diverse events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and remove event chairs, tables, and stages

• Maintain equipment such as forklifts and mowers

• Inspect and manage venue supplies and inventory

• Support the maintenance of building and grounds

• Follow safety guidelines and emergency procedures

Requirements:

• Team player with strong communication skills

• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Physically fit to handle heavy lifting

• Flexibility for varied shifts including weekends

• Experience in related operational roles is preferred
