As a Senior Events Manager, you will oversee Edmonton Unlimited's diverse event portfolio, ensuring each initiative aligns with the organization’s mission. You’ll work closely with the Vice President, Brand & Strategic Partnerships, managing event concept through to execution. Your leadership will not only manage logistics and budgets but also foster collaboration with sponsors and partners, enhancing community impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own end-to-end event lifecycle from concept to execution
• Serve as primary liaison for stakeholders and sponsors
• Manage timelines, budgets, and vendor negotiations
• Lead and mentor the Events Specialist in daily tasks
• Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with mission
Requirements:
• 10+ years in event management, ideally in innovation or tech
• 7+ years guiding teams and individuals
• Strong experience with budget management and vendor coordination
• Proven project management skills with high attention to detail
• Familiarity with Edmonton's innovation community is an asset
