Event Host

Position: Michaels Event Host
Elevate experiences as an Event Host at Michaels Edmonton, Alberta. You'll create joyful moments through kids’ parties and workshops while ensuring excellent customer service.

In this role, you'll handle the planning and execution of multiple events, including birthday parties aimed aging clients and providing craft instruction will be essential to your daily tasks. You'll perform administrative duties such as communication with clients and ensuring that each event meets the company’s standards for fun and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate various craft-related events and workshops

• Engage attendees and provide craft instructions

• Facilitate add-ons like goody bags and decorations

• Uphold cleanliness and safety before, during, and after events

• Communicate effectively with clients and team members

Requirements:

• Customer service or retail experience is a plus

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience with children and event hosting

• Creativity and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle various tasks under pressure
