Homa is on the lookout for a Lead Systems Designer to work on a groundbreaking RPG experience. This remote role emphasizes designing core progression systems, combat loops, and game economies that create lasting player experiences. Your expertise will drive impactful player choices and system performance based on data insights and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and own core progression systems like characters and skills
• Create engaging combat systems that promote strategic gameplay
• Balance game economies and reward structures for player retention
• Analyze performance metrics with Product and Analytics teams
• Write clear design documentation for smooth implementation
Requirements:
• 4–6 years in Game Design focusing on systems design
• Experience with midcore or RPG games, particularly free-to-play
• Strong understanding of progression and combat systems
• Analytical mindset using game KPIs for decisions
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
