Financial AnalystOur client is searching for a Financial Analyst to join their team. This role will be responsible for providing support and advice to the management team to assist in the decision-making process and providing solutions for operational planning, development, and budgeting. A successful candidate will be adaptable, analytical, and eager to understand the nuances of financial operations beyond standard metrics. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced,

Your success will be defined by your ability to:Collaborate closely with various Department Managers, translating financial insights and providing resource assistance or strategic advice as requiredSupport the FP&A Manager in the detailed review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial results and comparing the information with appropriate statistics to provide variance analysis on activity and pricingGather and analyze financial and statistical information to support both strategic and operational decision-making for the Finance Department and the organization as a wholeCollaborate with the accounting departments to ensure accurate monthly adjustments and accruals are completeAssist in the preparation and updating of financial projections and forecasts based on evolving financial data and new funding information becomes availableYour strengths include:Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field3+ years of progressive experience in budgeting and financial analysisIndustry experience in non-profits or government-adjacent organizations is highly valuedPursuing a CPA designation is preferred, but not requiredPossess a high commitment to providing quality customer serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsHigh proficiency with use of computers and software, including Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as accounting or budgeting softwarePrevious experience with Oracle is an assetExcellent interpersonal and leadership skillsStrong knowledge of financial and statistical methodologies and practices
