Chief Financial OfficerOur Edmonton based client is seeking a dynamic and execution-focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their
executive leadership team. This is a high-impact role within a Professional Services firm, offering the opportunity to lead financial operations across multiple international entities while supporting growth through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:Lead global finance operations across multiple entities, countries and currenciesMaintain a rolling Quality of Earnings (QoE) framework to support transparency and transaction readinessManage debt financing, lender relationships, and capital structure optimizationOversee cash flow forecasting, working capital, and capital allocationDirect and mentor a distributed finance team, including staff in different countriesSupport M&A activities including modeling, due diligence, integration, and synergy trackingCollaborate with private equity sponsors and the Board on strategic reporting and performance metricsPrepare timely and accurate management reports, dashboards, and investor materialsProvide financial insights to support cross-functional decision-makingTravel occasionally to global offices and work across international time zonesYour strengths include:CPA or equivalent designation, with an advanced degree in finance or business8-15 years of progressive finance experience, including CFO or VP Finance rolesStrong background in FP&A, accounting operations, and debt financingExperience managing multi-entity, multi-currency operationsExposure to private equity environments and M&A integrationTransparent, collaborative, and execution-oriented leadership styleExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
