Remote-first Senior Analyst work at affirm centers on advanced analytics, risk strategy, and decisions across customer and merchant life cycles.
Senior Analysts join affirm’s Risk & Analytics organization through a shared process spanning multiple teams. You will own complex analytical problems end to end, translate data into business strategy, and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders. Potential placements include Fraud, Core Analytics, Servicing, Point of Sale, Direct to Consumer/Card, and International Expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and optimize business, risk, or growth strategies
- Monitor portfolio performance and macroeconomic trends
- Build metrics for scalable risk, fraud, or growth models
- Translate regulations into policy and product recommendations
- Mentor analysts and develop AI-assisted workflows
- Two to five years in consumer lending, credit, or fintech
- Degree in a quantitative field
- Advanced SQL, Python, or scripting proficiency
- Expertise in data mining, visualization, and statistical modeling
- Experience leading cross-functional analytical initiatives
